About Us purchasing the Swan 51 Northern Child in March 2001, we developed a business model that now seems fairly common: Following the sun 12 months of the year! UK in the summer, Mediterranean in the autumn and then out to the Caribbean for the winter. Having successfully run both Northern Child the Yacht and the business for 8 years, we sold her as a going concern to Christian and Lucy, one of the quality yachts we now work with.

Magali
Magali
Born in Normandy, France, Magali attended the International Branch of the Business School l’ESSEC in Paris, following which she went to work for James Dyson in Malmesbury, England. In 2001 Magali set up and ran the business and boat of Northern Child, mainly dealing with the commercial aspects such as marketing and advertising and anything to do with Julian’s pet hate, computers! Following the arrival of children Magali moved off the boat and set up an office responsible for all shore based aspects of the business. Over the years she has put charters on other similar vessels and Magali is now occupied with all matters relating to the selling, co-ordination and running of charters on board our fleet of yachts.
