Three of our yachts, Nix, Northern Child and Monomotapa have now completed the ARC 2009 transatlantic crossing from Gran Canaria to St Lucia. It took them 15 days to cross the Atlantic in very good conditions despite the usual squalls or lack of wind for a couple of days. If you would like to read about Northern Child's adventure, please look at the Ship's logs. If you are thinking of participating in the ARC 2010, please feel free to contact us at anytime as we have already started to organise next year's event.

Congratulations to the crew of Nix, the X – 612 owned by Nico Cortlever, and currently en route Las Palmas, has just recorded a 4th place result in the Rolex Middle Sea Race. High winds dominated the first 36 hours of this year’s race and 25 of the race starters retired. Narrowly beaten into fourth place by Tonnerre de Breskens 3, the Ker 46 and a former RORC champion boat, Nico and his crew led by Brian Thompson were suitably positive about their great result: ‘We had a great time during the Middle Sea Regatta and our skipper Brian Thompson was very skilled and admired hugely by the whole crew’ Nico
