AMJ Yachting has become synonymous with the ARC, having put over 150 clients during the last ten years on board yachts on this annual event from Las Palmas, Gran Canaria to St Lucia in the Caribbean. This classic 2,700 nautical mile downwind passage on the north east tradewind route takes between 15 to 17 days.

The ARC is the largest trans-ocean event in the world: With more than 200 boats participating in the rally, it is characterised by a tremendous camaraderie between all those taking part. The ARC is is very well organised by the World Cruising Club who provide entertainment for all with a wide-ranging programme of parties, barbecues, talks, demonstrations and seminars, taking place both before the start and after the finish.
